BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department was called to the scene of a reported shooting late Wednesday afternoon.
Upon arrival, detectives found 21-year-old Jared Collins, of 1719 Spain St. “inside the aforementioned residence yesterday around 5:10pm, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds,” according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Collins was dead when authorities arrived at the scene and the investigation into this deadly shooting remains open.
