The ‘Explorer’ program is for teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 and is designed to help those teenagers who may be interested in future careers as law enforcement officers or first responders.

BRPD is hosting an open house Saturday, June 15 at 5:00 p.m. at headquarters for interested teenagers and their families.  Headquarters is located at 9000 Airline Highway.

There is no application deadline for the program, but the year-round program only accepts 25 applicants at a time.
