BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Are you interested in taking a Concealed Handgun Permit Class?

If you have $100.00 for the class and are available on February 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., BRPD is giving the public a chance to get their Concealed Handgun Permit.

The Concealed Handgun Permit Class is taking place in Zachary at the Joint Law Enforcement Training Center.

You will need to bring your own gun and ammunition and the classes will be run by Baton Rouge Police Firearm Instructors.

If you are 21 years or older and want to take this class, head to BRPD Headquarters.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is offering all the details you need to know in order to sign up:

  • Sign up at Baton Rouge Police Headquarters – Traffic Records located at 9000 Airline Hwy.
  • Come by anytime between Monday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
  • Payment can be made by cash, check or money order
  • Your payment receipt will allow entry into the class

The Joint Law Enforcement Training Center is located at 999 W. Irene Rd.
