UPDATE:

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The missing man was found on Monday, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

A spokesperson from the nursing home said Young was offsite visiting family when he went missing and was not missing from the facility.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department needs your help. Can you help them find 63-year-old Vandy Young? The last time anyone saw Young was at approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 1.

BRPD said Young lives at the Capital Oaks Nursing Home and has dementia and schizophrenia and is bipolar. The police department describes him as slim, 6’2″ and wearing a white cap, black polo, light stonewash jeans with white socks and crocs.
