NEW ORLEANS, La. (WDSU) — A New Orleans staple is reopening this week after being closed due to the coronavirus.
Café Du Monde in the French Quarter will reopen on Friday, according to Jay Roman with the restaurant.
The French Quarter location will open at 10 a.m. on Friday.
The location will then be open for take out only from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. seven days a week.
There will be a limited number of tables available
“As we did after Katrina we will begin with these hours and build back to 24 hours a day,” said Roman.
