BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Cap City Beer Fest, a festival benefitting a local animal shelter, returns for its seventh year in downtown Baton Rouge on Sunday, Nov. 6.

Festival organizers said the attendees can get in for free but will need to purchase tickets for beer tasting. Cap City Beer Fest will be taking place on N. 4th Street from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Ticket and merchandise sales will go to Companion Animal Alliance. This festival welcomes furry friends. No aggressive dogs are allowed and water bowls will be set up around the event, according to Cap City Beer Fest’s website.
