CENTRAL, La. (BRPROUD) – Multiple fire departments were called to a reported house fire on Wednesday.
The call came in around 4:15 a.m. and upon arrival, firefighters “found a car under the carport on fire,” according to a Central Fire Department.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out and prevent any damage to the home.
These fire departments were called to the fire:
- Central Fire Department (Engines 313,323,333,353 and Rescue 338)
- Baton Rouge Fire Department
- East Side Fire Department
- District Six Fire Department
The latter two ended up not being needed at the scene.
