BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA/WGMB) — The City of Baker’s Prosecutor’s Office will host ‘Men, Boys and the Women Who Love Them’ on Thursday, Nov. 14.

The prosecutor’s office, led by Christopher R. Dassau, says they hope the event provides men and boys with information that is valuable for their development both personally and in the community.

Notable community leaders are expected to speak and provide advice and encouragement for attendees. The event also serves as a forum for women and mothers who want to develop a bond with their son. Topics include social development, legal matters, inspiration, mentorship and more.

The event is from 6-9 p.m. and is free and open to the public. It will be held at City Hall in Baker, 3325 Groom Road. Organizers say there will be free food and haircuts, plus a number of door prizes.

For questions, call the city prosecutor’s office at (225)778-1717.
