City of Zachary hosting Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic

ZACHARY, La. (BRPROUD) – The Zachary Mayor’s Office has partnered with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) to bring a vaccine clinic to the area.

More access to the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine is becoming available around the Baton Rouge metro with the first happening in Livingston Parish this past weekend.

According to LDH, this is all part of a vaccine blitz that begins Friday, March 12th and goes on through Sunday.

There will be about 400 doses available on Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

If you’re interested in getting the vaccine, you must bring:

  • Proof of employment
  • License or form of ID
  • Insurance card, if insured
  • Meet eligibility requirements that was recently updated on March 9th

A face covering must be worn at the event. If you have additional questions, call 225-306-2000.
