BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A day of hope and encouragement for victims and families impacted by gun violence is being planned by city officials.
The Office of Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, and Cathy Toliver, a community activist and the grandmother of Devin Page Jr., have organized an inspirational event called The Table is Spread. The event will include dinner, a musical, and more.
The Table is Spread will be at the Southern University F.G. Clark Activity Center on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
