The Coast Guard assisted in rescuing three people after their boat capsized Friday night in Alligator Pass in Delacroix.

Authorities said water currents swept two of the people away from the boat. A good samaritan is credited with rescuing one person near the capsized vessel.

Authorities said the three people were taken to Sweet Water Marina in Delacroix in stable condition.
