Coast Guard searching for boater, overdue vessel near Lake Felicity in Terrebonne Parish

TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WDSU) — The Coast Guard is searching for an overdue vessel Monday near Lake Felicity.

The Coast Guard received a report around 5:30 a.m. from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office that 37-year-old Percy Dardar III, from Pointe-aux-Chenes, left a local boat ramp around 3 p.m. Sunday to look for oysters, and did not return.

Dardar was last seen wearing a hoodie, jeans and white shrimping boots.

The vessel is described as a 24-foot white Carolina skiff.

Multiple crews are involved in the search.
