The Community Coffee Company has announced the start of its 30th annual Community Cash for Schools program which assists schools earn money by collecting Proofs of Purchase from all Community brand products.
More than 800 schools participated in the program and earned over $328,500 for their teachers and students. More than 75 schools earned over $1000, and the top earning school earned $6800 alone.
“We’re thrilled to have reached this milestone and proud of what the program has accomplished,” said David Belanger, President and CEO of Community Coffee Company. “As we kickoff the program’s 30th year, we look forward to supporting local communities and students once again and for many years to come.”
In order to participate, students, teachers and their local communities work together to collect Proof of Purchase labels from Community® coffee and tea products purchased at grocery stores, hotels and businesses.
As a whole, schools then submit the labels as instructed at CommunityCoffee.com/CashforSchools.

Since the program’s inception in 1988, Community Coffee Company has helped public and private schools throughout the region generate over $7.4 million. These funds are used for programs and initiatives that best serve students’ needs, such as new playground equipment, textbooks, computers, school events and more.
