COVID vaccines, testing available at Ascension Parish Library during January

ASCENSION PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — Ascension Parish Library partners with Ochsner to host pop-up COVID-19 vaccination and testing throughout the month of January.

The Pfizer vaccine will be available to individuals 12 years and older. The library said appointments are preferred but not required. To schedule, call 1-844-888-2772.

Those receiving a vaccine will need to bring a Louisiana ID or proof of address.

All pop-ups will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations and dates:

  • Galvez location (40300 Highway 42 Prairieville, LA 70769) on Jan. 5 and Jan. 26
  • Gonzales location (708 South Irma Blvd. Gonzales, LA 70737) on Jan. 21
