BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating the death of a 37-year-old Baton Rouge man after his body was found in the 2000 block of North Boulevard on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Joshua Phillips was found dead on Wednesday morning around 6:10 a.m.

According to a news release from BRPD, Phillips’ autopsy showed that he had multiple injuries that caused his death.

Phillips’ death has been ruled a homicide, according to BRPD.
