BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Baton Rouge Police Homicide Detectives arrested a woman on Wednesday, Nov. 7 in connection to a fatal shooting on Aug. 27.
According to BRPD, Lacey Trumble, 37, was arrested after reportedly being connected to the fatal shooting of Sherman McElroy, 42. The shooting happened around 9 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26 in the 3000 block of Monte Sano Avenue. McElroy died at the scene after he was shot multiple times, according to BRPD.
Trumble was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on the following charges including, illegal use of weapons and second-degree murder, according to BRPD.
