BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Eishmel Spears, Jr., 69, was found shot to death around 2:35 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department. The deadly shooting took place in the 9900 block of Merganzer Avenue.
BRPD said the shooting victim died at the scene “as a result of injuries he sustained from being shot.” The East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office was asked to respond to this shooting on Wednesday, June 7, according to EMS.
