BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a reported bank robbery in Baton Rouge.

According to police, officers responded to a call at a Chase Bank in the 7300 block of Highland Road in reference to an armed robbery.

Police say after the scene was secured, the responding officers discovered that the armed robbery suspect was a woman.

Armed Robbery Detectives were notified and responded.

No more details were released at this time.
