BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in the 800 block of S. Flannery Road.

According to BRPD, officers were called to a shooting around 1:20 p.m. Friday, March 31. Authorities said the shooting appeared to be domestic-related.

Police said a male victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a woman was detained.

This is an ongoing investigation.
