BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened Friday night.

According to BRPD, around 11:34 p.m., detectives responded to a reported shooting in the 3400 block of Main Street. The victim has been identified as Ennis Abraham, 26. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation. Police are investigating the motive and working to identify suspects.
