BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Some of you may have received a text alert from the Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services about the Child Tax Credit.
Some examples of those texts can be found below:
- LADCFS Alert: You may qualify for up to $3,600 per child in Child Tax Credits, plus additional cash from missed stimulus payments.
- LADCFS Alert: Your benefits will not be affected by this payment and it’s easy to get your money.
- LADCFS Alert: If you are the caregiver for a child under 18, you may qualify for up to $3,600 per child under the Child Tax Credit.
- LADCFS Alert: This includes grandparents, aunts and uncles, adoptive parents, siblings, and foster parents.
As the deadline approaches to file a simplified return, DCFS believes that local families should be aware of this resource.
With only five days left, you could be eligible for up to $3,600 per child.
