DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (BRPROUD) — Dirty South Daiquiris will be shutting its doors later this month, according to an announcement made on social media Thursday.
In its Facebook post, the daiquiri shop says the closure is due to eviction. Details of the eviction weren’t shared by the owner, citing that they are “still having court hearings.” However, they shared that the eviction took place after an “unapproved” car show in Dirty South Daiquiris’ parking lot.
“It has been one of my biggest honors serving this community and meeting so many people from all different walks of life,” the owner said in the announcement. “My wife and I are so proud to call so many of you friends and even family. This may be the end for this location but we will see you all soon and be back better than ever! So until then, y’all come see all your favorite bartenders and hang out just a few more times.”
The business, located at 7755 Magnolia Beach Road, officially closes its doors on Monday, July 25.
