Baton Rouge Police arrested a Denham Springs man after he turned himself in and admitted he choked his live-in partner Monday in an altercation police said happened while two 4-year-old children were present.

Talon Marcus Borskey, 28, faces two domestic abuse battery charges — one for allegedly strangling his partner and one for child endangerment, according to an affidavit.

The victim told the responding officer that he or she has lived with Borskey for six months, and the victim alleged that Borskey kicked, struck and strangled him or her at their apartment after a verbal altercation escalated.

The victim reportedly could not breath and lost consciousness, the affidavit reveals. The responding officer noted there were red marks on both sides of the victim’s face, neck area and collarbone area.
