BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Denham Springs woman was indicted on charges after allegedly filing false tax returns for her business, according to U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Gathe, Jr.

Gathe’s announcement says the indictment alleges that Lakeisha Grayer, 40, made and filed false tax returns for her business and knowingly underreported the business’s gross receipts for tax years 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Grayer is under investigation by the Internal Revenue Service, according to Gathe.
