DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (BRPROUD) — Deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Denham Springs on Tuesday afternoon.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to a report of shots fired on Buddy Ellis Road.

“While we are still in the early stages of this case, we can tell you that, according to witnesses, we believe we are working a domestic-related murder/suicide at this hour,” said Sheriff Jason Ard.

The identities of the two male victims found dead were confirmed as Deshaun Ennis, 45, of Amite, and Anthony Self, Jr., 26, of Denham Springs.

An investigation is ongoing.
