LIVINGSTON, La. (BRPROUD) – The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office says the detective previously assigned to a 2019 sexual battery case that was recently reopened was disciplined and no longer works in the sex crimes division.

“As a result of the 2019 complaint being brought to the Sheriff’s attention and his personal review of the details of the case, the detective has been disciplined,” a spokesperson from LPSO said.

On Friday, the sheriff’s office announced the completion of the reopened investigation into Tiki Tubing co-owner 58-year-old Patricia Fore. According to Sheriff Ard, the 2019 case was not investigated “diligently.”
