Mayor LaToya Cantrell said the line’s return to New Orleans was a major win for the economy.

In a press release on Thursday, the company said that based on popular demand, the cruises would resume in 2021.

Along with the Caribbean and the Bahamas, the ships will also travel to Progreso, Mexico, in a new port of call for Disney Cruise Lines on the Yucatan Peninsula.

The theme for the 2021 cruises will be Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.”
