BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development continues to ask for public comment as it gears up to submit a draft of an electric vehicle infrastructure deployment plan.

DOTD is looking to secure $14 million in federal funding for charging stations throughout the state over the next five years. The funds will come from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, according to the department.

Public comment will be available until Monday, July 18. A draft of the plan can be seen online. To view it, click here.
