New efforts are underway to help ease rush hour traffic in Baton Rouge. The downtown development district celebrated the launch of Geaux Ride on Wednesday, September 16.
It’s a carpooling match software that pairs riders based off their personal preferences and routes.
“To come downtown, you see a lot of the same people who are alone, going to the same place, they’re coming to the same place, so why not hop in the car with a few people and carpool, and have a little less traffic on the roads” says Lauren Lambert.
