The Dutchtown Griffins started early and didn’t let their foot off the gas against McMain. After being up 24-0 at halftime, the Griffins only needed a few plays to score on their opening possession of the third quarter.
Dylan Sampson gave a spark with a long run into Mustang territory, and Blayden Louis capped off the drive with a run into the end-zone to give Dutchtown a 31-0 early fourth quarter lead.
The defense obviously had a good day as well, and Jordan Jackson capitalized on the night with a fumble after the Griffins forced a fumble on McMain quarterback Christopher Armstrong.
FINAL: Dutchtown 38, McMain 0.
