BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The 19th Judicial District Court Judge seat will go into a runoff between two Republican candidates.
Jordan Faircloth and Louise Myers will face each other in the municipal election on April 29. Faircloth had 34% of the vote and Myers had 47% of the vote. The seat opened when Judge Tim Kelley retired.
The 19th Judicial District Court has jurisdiction over all civil and criminal cases in East Baton Rouge Parish.
