BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said a man with dementia who went missing early Sunday morning has been located.

The sheriff’s office said Paul Pearson, 55, has been located. Details on where he was found were not immediately available.

According to the sheriff’s office, Pearson was last seen around 1 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1 at 7410 Bluebonnet Boulevard. Deputies said that Pearson was last seen wearing a blue and white striped polo-style shirt, blue jeans, and white New Balance shoes. He has a medium build, is 6-foot-6 and weighs around 160 pounds.

Deputies said that Pearson was diagnosed with dementia.
