ZACHARY, La. (BRPROUD) — A convicted sex offender was arrested by deputies on two counts of child porn Monday, Aug. 7 after an investigation.
Marcus Williams, 34, of Zachary was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison after investigators got a tip.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said Williams was linked to two videos containing child sex abuse content uploaded to Snapchat. Investigators said Williams is facing more charges from the Zachary Police Department after a search of his home.
Deputies noted that he was on probation before Monday’s arrest and has a previous criminal record of sexual offenses going back to 2005.
