BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – For one night only, multiple Grammy award-winning cellist Yo-Yo Ma will perform with the Baton Rouge Symphony.

The famous cellist will play with the symphony as it celebrates its 25th performance of the Pennington Family Foundation Great Performers in Concert series from 8-10 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Conductor Timothy Muffitt will lead the symphony.

According to the Baton Rouge Symphony, 19 of Yo-Yo Ma’s albums have won Grammy awards.

The symphony will perform at the River Center Theater, located at 300 Saint Louis Street.
