BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A new workout gym is set to open in Millerville.
HOTWORX Millerville will be the fifth HOTWORX franchise location to open in the Baton Rouge area. The new gym is located in the Target Shopping Center at 2121 Millerville Road, Suite B.
According to a franchise owner, Tracy Smith Emery, HOTWORX uses innovative technology to provide different infrared sauna workouts that are always available.
Other franchise owners listed are Frederick J. Smith and John Emery Sr.
According to Emery, certified instructors will lead you through a 15-minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and a 30-minute Isometric workout.
HIIT workouts consist of hot cycles, hot blasts, and hot thunder. Isometric workouts include hot yoga, hot pilates, hot barre none and hot buns. A statement lists that working out in infrared heat can help with weight loss, reduce stress, skin rejuvenation, and muscle recovery.
Emery said the gym is offering a $10 enrollment and a $44 monthly membership. Staff members will be at the HOTWORX location every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for new member sign-ups. Members can also sign up here.
Franchise owners expect to open the fitness studio around late December or early January.
