BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — EBR Schools Superintendent Sito Narcisse moves forward as a semifinalist for a new job in Florida.

In a special Monday morning meeting, the Broward County School Board approved semifinalists and outlined the next steps in its search for a superintendent. The board aims to narrow down candidates from seven to three.

Finalists are slated to be chosen on Tuesday, May 30.

Narcisse was named the East Baton Rouge Parish School System’s head in January 2021. He said last week that he will continue to focus on the parish as he continues through the Florida county school board’s application process.
