BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — East Baton Rouge Parish School System Superintendent Sito Narcisse has submitted an application for a job in the same position in Broward County, Florida.
As superintendent, Narcisse has implemented programs such as Pathways to Bright Futures program, Focus Choice Schools and early childhood education initiatives, according to the school system’s website.
The school board in Florida is scheduled to choose its semifinalists on Monday, May 22 in a special meeting. The deadline for applications was on Tuesday, May 16.

Narcisse was named the parish school system’s head in January 2021.
