EBRSO looking for suspect in burglary case

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating the individual in the attached picture. 

EBRSO said the individual in this picture took a purse from a vehicle on Essen Ln. 

The burglary occurred on June 4 in the 4200 block of Essen Ln.

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, ” the victim reported that an unknown person made entry into her vehicle by smashing the driver’s side rear window.”

The suspect made off with multiple credit cards that were later used at the Walgreens located on Essen Ln., according to the victim. 

EBRSO provided this description of the suspect: 

  • Black male
  • Wearing a yellow shirt, black shorts, and a black hat 

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, “the suspect was last seen driving a newer model white SUV.”

A cash reward is also available in this case. 

EBRSO said, “Crime Stoppers is also offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of those responsible.”
