BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) arrested a 45-year-old man accused of breaking into a 75-year-old woman’s home and forcing her to perform sexual acts.

According to EBRSO, on Tuesday, Conway Tullier broke into the victim’s house wearing a black ski mask, underwear and socks while holding a knife. Arrest documents said the victim was forced to drink alcohol Tullier found in her home and forced to perform and receive oral sexual intercourse while he held the knife.

According to arrest documents, the victim was able to escape and call 911 after Tullier fell asleep and passed out. The victim told authorities she didn’t know Tullier and had never seen home before this incident.

When deputies arrived at the victim’s house, Tullier was still asleep and naked in her bed.

Arrest documents stated detectives found the silver kitchen knife, the mask and Tullier’s underwear along with tennis shoe imprints in the dirt behind the victim’s garage close to the wooded area in the back of her home. Other personal items belonging to the suspect discovered by detectives included his backpack, a pair of tennis shoes and a flannel shirt in the storage room of the victim’s residence.

During questioning, Tullier admitted to breaking into the victim’s home and drinking alcohol but stopped the interview when he decided he wanted a lawyer.

Tullier was booked on first-degree rape and home invasion. He is being held without bond, according to EBR District Attorney Hillar Moore.
