EBRSO seizes drugs, guns and alleged dealers

In the first arrest EBRSO executed search warrants on July 3rd at a residence located in the 9000 block of El Scott Ave and a storage unit on Greenwell Springs Road. The following was seized:

-1.8 pounds of methamphetamine (29 ounces)
-1,000 dosage units of MDMA (Ecstasy)
-Palmeto AR-15 
-DPMS AR-15 
-Anderson AR-15 
-Beretta .40 handgun (stolen)
-Glock .40 handgun (stolen)
-Smith and Wesson .357 handgun
-.32 Caliber Chino handgun
-Birth certificate and numerous other documents for Wilford Mckneely

On July 16, 2019, the LSP Fugitive Task Force located Wilford McKneely and took him into custody at the Race Trac gas station located on Greenwell Springs Road. Once in custody, Narcotics Agents conducted an interview of McKneely at which time probable cause was obtained for an apartment located on N. Ardenwood. A search was conducted of the apartment and the following was located:

-1772 dosage units of Ecstasy (MDMA)
-167 oxycodones (30 mg)
-17 grams of cocaine (over half ounce)
-8.8 grams of meth (over quarter ounce)
-9mm handgun

McKneely was booked and charged with violating PWITD Sch. II (Meth), PWITD Sch. I (MDMA), Poss. of a Firearm with CDS, Poss. of a Stolen Firearm and Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia.

In the second arrest, ERBSO Narcotics agents conducted surveillance on a residence located at 6512 Winbourne Ave on July 16th. This residence was previously identified as a street-level distribution point for drugs.

During the surveillance a man was seen leaving the house and getting into a waiting vehicle. EBRSO deputies conducted a vehicle stop on the subjects at which time agents observed the passenger, Deldrick Jackson hide a unknown object in the glove box. Once the vehicle was stopped, SCAT Deputies located the following:

-45 caliber Springfield XD handgun (from the glove box)
-.38 special RP revolver
-.22 caliber revolver
-.30 caliber revolver
-9mm Smith and Wesson handgun
-7.62×39 SKS rifle (illegally modified short barrel rifle)
-Glock 9mm (reported stolen through EBRSO)
-ballistic vest with removable steel plates
-assorted boxes of ammunition
-numerous digital scales
-3.5 grams of heroin (6 baggies)
-1 gram of marijuana

Jackson was booked into the EBR Parish Prison for PWITD Sch. I (heroin), Poss. of a stolen firearm, Poss. of a firearm by a convicted felon, Poss. of a firearm with CDS, Poss. of marijuana and Poss. of drug paraphernalia.
