PORT ALLEN, La. (The West Side Journal) – On Monday, the West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office was called too the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on the LA-1 service road near Family Dollar in Port Allen, according to authorities.
The crash claimed the life of a 34-year-old man.
Lt. Ken Albarez said Ray Bryant, Jr. was headed southbound on LA-1 on a motorcycle when a car crossed the highway from the west side headed to Hubben’s.
Bryant struck the side of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver told authorities he never saw Bryant.
