A feline-only veterinary hospital and boarding facility, the Cat Care Center, will open in Baton Rouge Monday.

This veterinary hospital will offer advanced diagnostics, dental procedures, surgeries and behavior consultations, and the boarding facility can comfortably hold 40 cats at a time in suites that measure 50 square feet. Clients can view their cats the whole time they’re boarded through a 24/7 live camera feed.

The Cat Care Center dedicated a room for adoptable cats from Cat Haven, which will also have a live camera feed allowing people to view the cats online all day, every day.

The center is owned and operated by Dr. Lacie Lee, a graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary medicine, who ensured the facility was built to accommodate cats’ sensitivity, especially to sights, sounds and smells, Practice Manager Abby Santini wrote.

“We aim to provide a calm and stress-free place for our patients to visit, heal, and receive advanced veterinary care,” Lee said. “Our goal is for Cat Care Center to be a place where people can bring their cats, ask questions, and feel like family.”

The Cat Care Center is located at 12018 Perkins Road, Suite A.
