BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – FEMA has extended the period for applicants to request public assistance grants to Feb. 11.

Public assistance grants for Hurricane Ida, delivered by The Public Assistance Program, are given to local and state governments, houses of worship and certain private non-profit applicants following a governor’s disaster declaration.
