FEMA teams arrive in Ascension Parish to assist residents affected by Ida

ASCENSION PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance teams have arrived in Ascension Parish to assist residents affected by Hurricane Ida.

Teams are headed to Donaldsonville, Gonzales, Sorrento and unincorporated areas, according to parish officials. They will be helping residents with FEMA inquires, registration and guidance regarding claims.

The teams do not have a set schedule or route as they work their way through the parish.
