St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office has identified the body as 38-year-old Monique Barrilleaux.

ST. MARY PARISH, La (BRPROUD) — Marine Section deputies responded to a call regarding a body found in the water, five miles south of Berwick on Sunday morning.
The marine deputies recovered the body of an unidentified female.
This is an ongoing investigation.
