BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The fifth annual Louisiana Arts Summit has been postponed by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge due to the fourth COVID surge.

The event scheduled to take place from September 20-21 will now be moved to early spring 2022.

“While we want to open our doors to our creative community, we also need to be mindful of the safety and health of our Capital Region, and we find it best to move the date due to the increase in Covid-19 cases at this time,” said Arts Council President and CEO, Renee Chatelain.

The Arts Summit is a networking event for artists, innovators, advocates and business leaders.

“Registered guests may transfer their registration to the new spring date or request a refund,” says Director of Community Engagement, Deon Guillory.
