BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Do you need a flu shot? If so, you can head to Mid-City on Wednesday morning or wait until December 9 and go the C.B. Pennington Jr. YMCA.
Baton Rouge General Physicians is working with the YMCA to bring the flu shot to our local communities.
The flu shots are available on these locations, dates and times:
- A.C. Lewis YMCA in Mid City on December 2 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- C.B. Pennington Jr. YMCA on December 9 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Flu shots will be administered to anyone ages 3 and up.
Baton Rouge General provided these details about the Drive-up Flu Shot events:
- Flu shots are free with most insurances
- Non-insurance payment options are also available.
- Please bring a valid photo ID and insurance card, and remember to wear a mask.
- Free coffee will be available to those receiving flu shots
The A.C. Lewis YMCA is located at 350 N. Foster Dr. and the C.B. Pennington Jr. YMCA is located at 15550 Old Hammond Hwy.
