Free COVID-19 vaccines available at Mall of Louisiana this week

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Do you want to get the COVID-19 vaccine?

If so, the Pfizer vaccine is available for free at the Mall of Louisiana.

The dates and times for the week long Mall of Louisiana Community Vaccine Event can be found below:

  • Tuesday, May 4 through Thursday, May 6 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8th from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to make their way to Room 1206 near the entrance to the Mall of Louisiana.

Multiple agencies are taking part in the Community Vaccine Event:

  • State Fire Marshal’s Office,
  • St. George Fire Department
  • Baton Rouge Fire Department
  • Baton Rouge EMS
  • Louisiana Department of Health
  • Louisiana National Guard
  • East Baton Rouge Parish’s Red Stick Ready Initiative

For those that get the COVID-19 vaccine this week, you can return in four weeks to the same place and get the second vaccine.

The Mall of Louisiana is located at 6401 Bluebonnet Blvd.
