Free vaccinations to be administered by LDH in St. John the Baptist Parish

RESERVE, La (BRPROUD) – St. John the Baptist Parish and the Louisiana Department of Health will have a vaccination event Tuesday through Thursday.

The free vaccine event opens at 8 a.m. at the St. John Parish Public Health Unit on Tuesday, Dec. 28. Vaccine options are listed below.

COVID-19 vaccine options:

  • Pfizer for ages five and older
  • Johnson and Johnson for ages 18 and older
  • Moderna for ages 18 and older
  • Tetanus for ages 18 and older

COVID-19 testing options:

  • PCR
  • Rapid testing

The flu vaccine and boosters are also available. Appointments are preferred and can be made by calling (985)-536-2172. Walk-ups are welcomed.

Shot for 100 will be offered on Thursday, Dec. 30 for those who are receiving the first dose. The health unit will open at 8 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

The health unit is located at 473 Central Avenue in Reserve, La.
