BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – No it isn’t just you, gas prices in the Baton Rouge metro have gone up dramatically.
According to GasBuddy, gas prices in the metro area have risen 7.6 cents per gallon in the past week.
The average cost for a gallon of gas is $3.03 today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 361 stations in Baton Rouge.
A gallon of gas in the region is 20 cents higher than it was a month ago and a $1.20 more a gallon than a year ago.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 2.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.30 a gallon.
